PadGenie respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond to properly submitted notices of alleged copyright infringement.
Submitting a Takedown Notice
If you believe content on PadGenie infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated agent (below) that includes:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- Identification of the infringing material and its location (URL) on the Service
- Your contact information (name, address, phone, email)
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf
- Your physical or electronic signature
Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification to the designated agent. It should identify the removed material and its prior location, include a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, and provide your contact information and consent to jurisdiction.
